Following Jamie and Jamie on Channel 4, I've made a drink called Huckle My Buff. Put half a bottle of beer into a pan and add 1oz sugar, whisk an egg and add to the pan. Heat gently but do not boil. Add the remainder of the beer to the pan and heat to the desired drinking temp. Add a splash of brandy and a good sprinkle of nutmeg.
Tastes strange, a bit like a heated up custard tart with alcohol. Definitely a drink for a #duffer to try as its been extinct for about 400 years.
